- Tastings
- Try a range of wines in one go. At a walk-around tasting you wander between tables and chat to the people pouring. A drop-in tasting is a few bottles open at a shop counter. A guided tasting has someone talk you through each glass. You don't need to finish every pour, and spitting is normal.
- Masterclasses & courses
- You sit down with a line-up of wines and an expert or winemaker walks you through them. Good for asking the questions you'd feel silly asking elsewhere.
- Dinners & lunches
- A meal with a wine matched to each course, sometimes with the winemaker there to talk about them.
- Festivals & shows
- Bigger events with lots of producers, food stalls and often live music. Buy a tasting pass and take your time.
- Something different
